今回は、遠洋延縄船
第五十八昭福丸の出船送りに
行ってきました。

この時期は、冬の寒さはあるものの
晴天が多い気仙沼地方。

Kesennuma City is an area with
little snow and lots of clear skies.

この日も絶好の出船日和です。

Perfect weather for tuna boats
to go fishing!

一年という長い期間、
洋上という大自然相手に
限られた場所での生活

One year is a long period of time,
Living in a limited place on the sea

過酷な環境の中、
美味しい魚を獲って頂ける
漁師さんには本当に感謝しかありません。

I am truly grateful to the fishermen
who catch such delicious fish in
such a harsh environment.

第五十八昭福丸は、
平成7年竣工、大ベテラン船です。

saw them off as they sailed away.
